6.Placement Activity:
- Department prepare a placement brochure containing resume of all final year PG students and distributes it to different IT industries.
- The mock tests and interviews are frequently organized by the department for the final year PG students on aptitude and programming skills to prepare them for their final placement.
- Department organizes campus recruitment programme for final year students of UG and PG programmes by many software industries from Pune, Mumbai, Banglore, Nashik etc.. Every year more than 90% students of final year M.Sc.Comp.Sc are placed through this activity.
- In campus recruitment programme well known IT industries like FTLHT Banglore, Hervinger Pvt Ltd. Pune, Webtech developers Pune, Syntel Pune TCS Mumbai, PSPL Pune, Patni Computers Pune, Cashtech Solutions Pune etc. have visited and selected our students.

7.Research Activities:
Research Publications and Ongoing Projects
- A faculty member Smt.S.N.Deore has published a research paper in the International Journal of "Instructional Technology and Distance Learning".
- Smt.M.N.Sawant, a faculty has published a research paper in International Conference on distance education and open learning at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
- Shri.D.W.Aher, a faculty has published a research paper in National seminar "Library and Information Services in Changing Era" at University of Pune.
- Three faculty members Shri.M.N.shelar, Shri.S.N.Shinde and Shri.R.A.Patil have attended a National Conference at KKWIEER, Nashik.
- There is a one research project ongoing in the department, which funded (Rs.1 Lac) by BCUD, UOP to Shri.M.N.Shelar.
